Septarian Nodules are fossilized mud bubbles that formed between 50 and 70 million years ago. They are composed of calcite, aragonite, and are coated in limestone. The word Septarian comes from the Latin word “septum” meaning seven, or “saeptum” which means a wall or enclosure. When the mud bubbles dried they shrank inside and had a tendency to create a distinctive pattern of 7 points in every direction.
This stone can also be referred to as Dragon Stone. It is very grounding and protective. It’ uplifting energy instills joy. It is excellent for public speaking as it gives you confidence. It also allows us to be more patient and tolerant.
